<p>Residents of Avondale, Goodyear, and Tolleson are invited to drop off household hazardous waste for free on Saturday, April 1 from 8 to 11 a.m. at Coldwater Park, 10 N. Eliseo C. Felix Way, Avondale. Participants should enter at Western Avenue from Dysart Road.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Residents will be required to provide proof of residency such as a recent city utility bill or driver’s license. This event is for residential hazardous waste only; commercial or medical waste will not be accepted. Materials should be placed in the trunk or truck bed of vehicles for safety considerations.</p>

    <li>Automotive liquids: antifreeze, brake fluid, car batteries, gasoline, motor oil, transmission fluid</li>
    <li>Electronics: cable boxes, cell phones, computers, monitors, stereos, DVD players, TVs, VCRs</li>
    <li>Household chemicals: adhesives, aerosols, caulking, kerosene, lacquers, paint, poisons, pool chemicals, primers, poisons, solvents, stains, thinners, varnishes</li>
    <li>Household items: batteries, fire extinguishers, fluorescent tubes, propane tanks, thermometers</li>
    <li>Lawn chemicals: gardening chemicals, herbicides, insecticides, fertilizers, pesticides</li>
    <li>Tires: up to five passenger car tires - no wheels, rims or truck tires
