Join us for a thrilling storytime with a racecar at Sam Garcia Library! Children of all ages are welcome to listen to exciting tales of speed and adventure with NASCAR driver Frankie Muniz! A racecar will be on display for kids to take pictures with. Don't miss out on this unique and exciting opportunity to learn about the world of racing! We'll be outside so bring a blanket to sit on.

We’ll share fun stories with simple storylines and predictable plots that will support your child’s developing literacy skills.

In 2006, Frankie took a hiatus from the entertainment world to pursue professional race car driving. He competed in the Formula BMW USA Championship in 2006 before moving up to race in the ChampCar Atlantic Championship from 2007-2009. In 2009, Frankie was Fourth in the Championship standings with two races to go before a season-ending injury resulting in many surgeries. Now, 14 years later, Muniz is ready to embark on his racing career again, but this time in NASCAR!
