Avondale Code Compliance is Here to Help!

The Code Compliance Division strives to maintain healthy and safe neighborhoods through education, and voluntary compliance of the City’s Property Maintenance Code and zoning ordinances.  By building relationships with our residents, the division aims to strengthen neighborhoods by preventing the deterioration of residential and commercial properties.  Recognizing that property owners and tenants are equally responsible for the care of their premises, the Code Compliance team strives to communicate and educate all residents regarding the importance of neighborhood aesthetics and property maintenance.

Code Compliance encourages all residents to "Know your Home and Know the Code" to build and maintain healthy, safe and clean neighborhoods in Avondale.  Maintaining your home can reduce criminal activity and preserve property values.
