Courtesy Notices of a Possible Quorum

The City Council or Board and Commission Members may be in attendance at various special events. No official items will be discussed during the events and no action will be taken. As a courtesy to the public, those events will be listed online and updated on the last business day of the week.

Open Meeting Law Information

Pursuant to A.R.S. § 38-431.02 and in accordance with the Arizona Open Meeting Law, meeting notices may be obtained online at www.avondaleaz.gov/boards or at the posting locations listed below. Such notices will indicate the date, time, and place of the meeting and will include an agenda or information concerning the manner in which the public may obtain an agenda for the meeting. The City Council may be in attendance at all board or commission meetings.

For the convenience of those who do not have access to the internet, notices are posted no later than 24-hours prior to the meeting at the posting boards located outside of the following buildings:

  • City Hall located at 11465 West Civic Center Drive, Avondale, 85323
  • Sam Garcia Western Avenue Library at 495 E. Western Ave., Avondale, AZ 85323
