Building Codes and Amendments

Adopted 2024 Building Code Amendments

The City of Avondale has adopted the 2024 International Codes (published by the International Code Council) and the 2023 National Electrical Code to ensure safe, accessible, and efficient construction throughout the community.

City-Specific 2024 Building Code Amendments

In addition to these national model codes, the City of Avondale has adopted local amendments. These city-specific amendments apply to all construction projects and must be followed along with the adopted codes.
