Avondale announces Christmas and New Year’s Day Holiday Schedules

The following changes in City of Avondale operations will take place in observance of the upcoming Christmas and New Year holidays.

City facilities, including City Hall, City Court, Avondale Public Libraries, the Avondale Resource Center, along with administrative offices at Public Works and Public Safety, will be closed in observance of the upcoming holidays for the following dates:

• Monday, December 25, 2023 (Christmas Day)
•  Monday, January 1, 2024 (New Year’s Day)

The Public Works Department will follow the holiday trash and recycling pick-up schedule.

The Zoom circulator will be running service on holidays, but modified hours on some dates.  There will be no transit Express and RAPID or WeRIDE microtransit services on the observed holidays.  For complete transit schedules visit www.valleymetro.org.
