Raising Special Kids offers free workshops for parents and caregivers of children with special needs. Join us on Saturday, September 16, 2017 from 9:30a.m. to 11:30a.m. for the IEP Training workshop that will  provide a better understanding of the IEP document, the parent’s role in the special education process, and how to prepare for, and be an effective participant at the IEP meeting. You will learn who is a member of your child’s IEP team, how to track your child’s progress, and what to do if the team  does not agree on a plan. *Please note that this class will be conducted in Spanish. The English version of this class is scheduled for Saturday, November 18th from 9:30a.m. to 11:30a.m.
