Raising Special Kids offers free workshops for parents and caregivers of children with special needs. Join us on Saturday, October 14, 2017 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. to learn what a 504 plan is, how to request it, and the difference between a 504 plan and IEP ( Individualized Education Program). This training will explain how to become eligible for a 504 plan, how this plan can be used, what is included, parent and student rights, and the options available if a disagreement arises. *Please note that this class will be conducted in Spanish. The English version of this class is scheduled for Saturday, December 9th from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
