Avondale offers No Cost Health Screenings 

Avondale Neighborhood Family Services Department has teamed up with University of Arizona, College of Public Health to offer free monthly health screenings. The following screenings will be offered to the public every third Friday from 1-4 p.m. at the Care1st Avondale Resource Center. 

• weight & height
• blood glucose
• blood pressure
• HIV & Hepatitis C (when available)
• Fluoride varnish application (children 0-18)
• Flu vaccines (when available)
• Orientation and health education about chronic diseases (diabetes, hypertension)
• health insurance enrollment assistance
