The Avondale Youth Advisory Commission
The Avondale Youth Advisory Commission was established in 2002 by the Mayor and Council to represent youth in the community and provide them with leadership and community service opportunities, and learn to engage the community in meaningful ways. Currently, meetings are being held in person at the AZ Complete Health Avondale Resource Center on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month at 6:00 PM. AYAC takes a break from meetings during the summer months and resume in August.
To be eligible, members must be an Avondale resident and be between the ages of 13 to 18. To learn more, please fill out the Avondale Youth Advisory Commission interest form and an AYAC member will reach out to you directly.

The Junior Service-Learning Club is open to Avondale residents in grades 6-8. The goal of this brand-new initiative is to encourage youth to take leadership roles in the community, gain a deeper understanding of teamwork, and inspire civic action by engaging in monthly service projects.
We meet the second Wednesday of the month at The Arizona Complete Health Avondale Resource Center located at 995 E. Riley Drive, Avondale, AZ from 4:00 p.m.- 5:00 p.m. JSLC takes a break from meetings during the summer months and resume in September.
