All city of Avondale offices, libraries, resource and community centers will be closed in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day Monday, January 15.  The ZOOM Circulator bus will also not be in service on those dates.

With the observance of the holiday on a Monday, the Avondale City Council will instead meet on Tuesday, January 16 at 7  p.m. in the Avondale Council Chambers, 11465 W Civic Center Drive.

The Public Works Department will follow a modified holiday trash and recycling pick up schedule during holiday weeks. There will be no trash and recycling collections on the observed holidays. Trash service will take place one day later after the holiday for these two scheduled holiday weeks.
