This Could Be Fun: Improv 101

This Could Be Fun: Improv 101

Through playful exercises and group activities, you’ll discover how improvisation strengthens creativity, boosts confidence, and encourages positive communication skills.
What to expect:

  • Simple games that spark laughter and imagination

  • Partner and group exercises that build listening and collaboration

  • Tools to stay present, say “yes,” and explore ideas without fear

No performance experience needed — just curiosity and a willingness to play. You’ll leave energized, connected, and with new tools for creativity and everyday life.

This class will be led by Jacque Arend who has been teaching improv in the Valley since 2007. She started facilitating applied improvisation in business training and education in 2010. Most notably she is the architect of the mandatory medical improv program at the University of Arizona as well as the Executive Director of SAVI FEST and annual festival of improvisation in Arizona.
