Presidents Day Holiday Closures

All city of Avondale offices, libraries, resource and community centers will be closed in observance of Presidents Day, February 19. The ZOOM circulator bus will also not be in service.

With the observance of the holiday on Monday, the Avondale City Council will instead meet on Tuesday, February 20 at 7 p.m. in the Avondale Council Chambers, 11465 W Civic Center Drive.

The Public Works Department will follow a modified holiday trash and recycling pick up schedule during the holiday week. There will be no trash, recycling or bulk collections on the observed holiday. Sanitation services will take place one day later after the holiday for that week.
