The Engineering Department is responsible for providing in-house professional engineering services, which includes design and project management of street, drainage, traffic signals, and capital improvement projects. Along with the inspection of development.  The Department is responsible for the management of the City’s traffic system, including repair and maintenance of traffic signals, streetlights, roadway signs and pavement markings, as well as roadway pavement management.  The City Engineer also serves as the Floodplain Administrator.
