Development Impact Fees
On April 3, 2023, The Avondale City Council adopted revised development impact fees. Under Arizona Revised Statutes Section 9-463.05, the revised impact fees will become effective June 17, 2023, as set forth below.
1. For any type of development, where the development fees are reduced, the reduced fees shall apply to the development for all building permits issued on or after June 17, 2023.
2. For single-family residential development an increased development fee shall not be assessed for twenty-four months from the date the first building permit is issued for a residential development or final plat approval, unless the number of lots are increased in which case the additional lots will be subject to the increased fees.
3. For a commercial, industrial, or multi-family development, an increased development fee shall not be assessed for twenty-four months from the date of final approval of the project.
