City of Avondale
Home MenuBulk Trash Service
Each month as part of residential trash service, the City collects large, bulky waste items and green waste which do not fit in the 90-gallon trash container. More details are included below to help you properly prepare and set out items for these services as bulk and green waste no longer need to be separated.
Where Do I Place My Bulk Trash?
Materials must be placed in the street up against the curb in front of your property. Where there is no curb, material must be placed at the edge of the street. Bulk trash placed on private property CANNOT be serviced.
When Do I Set Out My Bulk Trash?
Set out bulk trash for collection by 5 a.m. on the Monday of your scheduled service week. Solid Waste crews have until Friday to collect all bulk trash in the zone. We cannot guarantee which day your neighborhood will be serviced. Materials may be set out no more than 24 hours before the Monday of your scheduled service week.
