Have recyclables and nowhere to put them? Visit the Avondale recycling drop-off center!

The drop-off center is located in the Civic Center Library Parking Lot - 11350 W. Civic Center Dr. 

How does it work? 

This convenient spot welcomes all Avondale residents, including those who live in multifamily communities, to drop-off loose recyclables into the containers. Do not sort or bag your recyclables, simply drop-off and go! 

Use of this recycling drop-off center is limited to Avondale residents for household recycling. Commercial recycling and business materials are not permitted.
Acceptable Items

All items allowed in Avondale's curbside recycling containers are permitted. These include Plastic (#1-5), Steel/Tin/Aluminum, Cardboard, paper, and glass. Visit the Recycle Right Guide to learn more about acceptable items. 

Notes:

• Remember to break down all your boxes and remove any packaging materials, as they are not recyclable (Styrofoam, packing peanuts, plastic bags).
• Do not bag recyclables, place them directly into the container.
• Plastic grocery bags are not accepted.

Illegal Dumping

To maintain a clean and safe environment for our community, please do not leave any items outside of the designated containers. 

Pursuant to Arizona Revised Statute Section 13-1603, leaving any items outside of the containers is considered illegal dumping and is strictly prohibited. This area is monitored by 24-hour video surveillance.
